Your organisation has the opportunity to support your male staff to make a real difference in the workplace, the lives of their colleagues and in their own personal lives.
Organisations aren’t just places we go to work; they are places where we form friendships, and relationships, learn new skills, and develop confidence and a self-identity. If we’re lucky, these are environments where we can grow, thrive and deliver real impact.
Is This for You?
Are there men in your organisation who would really benefit from improving their relationships with others in the workplace? Can you see their potential but this gets in their way?
Would you like your staff to feel empowered, confident and energised?
Engaging Men as Allies is for any organisation that has male and female employees. Don’t wait until there are problems between staff members which can quickly escalate, take action now.
Why Choose Engaging Men as Allies?
I understand the difficulties. Because of many biological and social factors, men and women are different; they learn and communicate differently and have different professional priorities.
In any organisation where there are male and female workers, tensions can arise. These can quickly escalate to a situation where HR departments have to become involved, people have to take time off work and in some situations, costly tribunals have to take place. I’ve seen that happen when managers haven’t been proactive and have just hoped the problems would go away.
Women intuitively understand that there are men that they just don’t want to work with or spend any time with. It may be about something they’ve said, or done or just a vibe that they give off.
Men are often in a position where they feel at a complete loss. Sometimes they can feel quite hostile about this, (“You just can’t say anything anymore”) and sometimes they are genuinely confused about what is OK and what is not OK. This renders them unable to say or do anything just in case they get it wrong and leads to avoidance of all interaction with female colleagues. Which is a terrible shame.
I have worked with men for most of my career. I understand the burden that has been placed on them through social conditioning and the destructiveness of toxic masculinity, for them as well as for everyone else.
I have a deep understanding of men that have been developed through my work with them over many years; I understand how they have been taught to think, to avoid feeling and for it to seem as if they can’t get it right, no matter what they do.
I understand the concerns around cost and time out for your workforce. This is an investment in your team and your organisation that will give you greater rewards.
After working with me, your male staff will feel listened to, l understood, supported and not judged. You will notice the positive changes in them as will all their colleagues. They will be more confident, more productive and this has a ripple effect on everyone else so the whole energy of your team will change.
Your Solution, Your Journey:
Engaging Men as Allies helps your organisation through working with your male staff. Being good at your job isn’t just about what you do at your desk; it’s about the relationships you form, the way you make other people feel, the value you bring to the team.
Imagine what your organisation could achieve if your staff were operating as an aligned energetic force? If they genuinely had authentic and empathic relationships with each other, how much more effective do you think they would be?
This isn’t just a service; it’s a partnership where your organisation is my priority.
The outputs of your workforce are in direct alignment with the health of the team. It’s all an inside job. Shifting our internal landscapes changes our external reality and that includes how we perform at work and how successful organisations can become.
Are you ready to become an organisation with a genuine growth mindset? Let’s get together and create a happy, empowered, confident and productive workforce.
